In my recap of last night's game I forgot to mention that this big kid in center field, Aaron Hicks, threw a ball over 300 feet last night to nail Vernon Wells at third. It was some kind of throw.
[1] That throw along with Machado's play from last week are two highlights I'll remember for the rest of my life. Holy Shit on both of them.
Fucking Hughes ...
That was just pathetic, Lyle.
Wow, your plays sure worked out great that inning, eh JoeyJoeJoe?
I take some of that back, Zoilo completely biffed that play.
another solo job and we're losing.
Hey, a risp.
Yeah, but it's Austin Romine...
good pronk. nune5 is the pinch stand-there.
tie the game.
Hey, LEAN into that one, bro. You're a catcher!
i'd rather see stewart pinch hit...
A productive out! Ugh.
BOOOOOO.
Watching this team at the plate is like having dysentery of the soul ...
That's a shit call. For the Twins.
Sayonara, game. Fucking Bollocks!
Phil mothersucking Hughes, Ladies and Gentlemen ...
Oh well, time to watch the USMNT vs Cuba ...
um...fuckity fuck fuck.
Off topic, but I've been watching a lot of MLB Network late night in the last few weeks. The games on the west coast have fans filling the seats behind home plate as well as the seats up the 1st and 3rd base lines behind the dugouts. It makes watching the games a tad more entertaining to see those seats filled. WIll the Yankees EVER rearrange the "rattle your chains" sections? Or do they sell enough of them to not give a shit about the TV aesthetics? I figure it's the latter.
That's an E5, not a hit. Give me a fucking break.
