Not too many people convinced that Melancon is a good answer for them; he's got control issues and comes out of a weak division with a small sample-size of above average success. I think this was more of a move to rid themselves of two non-performers for something as opposed to nothing. I'm not even gonna bother saying anything regarding Punto.
If the Yanks do get Darvish, I hope it's for a relatively low number; not for the value, but for what it represents in the potential rotation.
