Is Scott Boras then the ultimate "one-armed bandit"?

Boras is the ultimate something but I'm just not sure what. That'd make for a fun madlib exercise though.

I still have high hopes for the Kiddy corps. Don't mortgage the ranch. Seen that before.

I would love to have a number one starter, but I'd prefer a first baseman who can hit and field. Hard for Sabbathia to turn down the Yankees. Big Latino community. Lots to do and lots of love for a family guy. Just cannot see him staying in beer town if he wants to be a big star. LA is a problem. Maybe he doesn't want to play with Manny and share the spotlight. How about him facing Santana! Just close your eyes and picture them throwing zeros for 8 or 9 innnings and being replaced by Mo and ....

Afraid of Sheets and AJ because of their fragile bodies. Lowe could win 12-14 and eat innings.

Well, that was a horribly depressing video. From the continued bad CC news to the Yankees renewed interest in DL Burnett, bad news all around.

[4] Unless the "interest" in Burnett is just a smokescreen designed to get CC to make up his mind already. On one hand, maybe CC really does want to be out in CA . . . but OTOH, will he really turn down $140M?

Appropriately enough, I can think of only one big name free agent pitcher who turned down the Yanks, even though the Yanks offered him more money: Greg Maddux.

[3] Why would a big latino community have an impact on Sabathia?

[3] Well, the name may kinda throw you off, but CC Sabathia is Black/African American. The question's been asked before, but it's no real biggie... :)

[6][7] Haha, yeah that would be an interesting reason for a Black/African American to come to NYC..maybe he just needs his Fania fix??
