Alex, my wife is always giving me grief about YouTube. She tells me I should be their spokesman. She does not appreciate its power. It's simply a brain-jukebox. I can never get enough. Hopefully the grainy images improve in 09. Hulu's pretty ridiculous, too.
It is truly wonderful..I have found the most obscure tv footage of Congolese (Zaire) rumba from the 70s, grainy footage of old Japanese jazz clubs, live Donny Hathaway footage..who is uploading all this great stuff? How did they hold on to it for so long?? (and more importantly, WHY did someone keep a VHS of old Press Your Luck episodes? did they think one day they'd just HAVE to see the Whammy again?) Just sad there's not more baseball...
Alex, the Converse commercial was great, I remember I had a pair of orange ones!
I remember being in Germany on a business trip, and watching an NBA game in the hotel. I didn't speak any German, so basically, all I heard was: "blah blah blah blah Gran-ma-ma blah blah blah!" every time LJ touched the ball. Still cracks me up today.

If I'm not mistaken, back then we would have said, "Converse were the joint back then."
back when.
