Checking in from the future, it's 2010 here! Bright and sunny morning (note: my head is not bright and sunny but heavy and foggy..) with the nearby Meiji Shrine ready for the 300,000 visitors to come today. First prayers of the New Year, a very big deal in Japan.
Although Doc Brown strictly forbade me from sharing future news with you all (something a bout a rip in the space-time continuim?) I can say that the road to #28 is clear an exciting..with an unexpected new Yankee hero winning accolades and becoming a new folk hero..Jeter will regress but continue to be solid, A-Rod and Tex will mash 80 dingers..and in a repeat of 2009, the Yanks will beat the Phillies for the championship!
Future's so bright, we all got to wear shades :)
明けましておめでとうございます!
*Love* that bit! We all *do* need the eggs!
Happy Kalends to all!
And thanks to everyone for making this such a special online community.

Hello, 2010. 2009 was mighty good to us - we'd like more of the same, please.
Here's a cure for any hangovers:

P.S. The 2nd clip is better then the 1st. Don't miss it.
Day at the Races, Night at the Opera, Casablanca, .... Have them all and watch them over and over. Can't have too many laughs. If Groucho wasn't such a schmuck, he would have been the greatest. Go to the Times site and watch the Cavett interviews. Just brilliant.
