The Big One

It is sunny but cold in New York.

Tonight gives The Big Game. I’m rooting for Peyton and the Colts but will be hard-pressed to be upset should the Saints win. What a cool turn of events that’d be for a traditionally losing franchise, not to mention a city that has seen more than its fair share of hard times.

So? What do you do for the Stupit Bowl? Go to a party? Throw a party? Stay at home and make a feast? Which one of these?

Last night we tried to put the bitter cold out of mind by drinking mango martinis and cooking island pork tenderloin. Today, stay at home, watch the game with my wife and daughter and enjoy leftover pork sandwiches.

I keep changing my mind on who I like tonight. Although, my money's already on the Colts, giving 5.

City chicken, Yuengling and a warm fire at home.

My 1st pro football game I can remember seeing was the Colts / Giants game at Yankee Stadium
in 1959. Yea, that Game. What struck me was that my Dad who was a Yankee fan rooted for the
Colts. Even after they moved he stood by them. I often kidded him about SB 3. My Dad is now with
Johnny U looks down on the game and of rotting for the Colts. Peyton has become the modern
Johnny U.. Go Colts!

i'm staying home and making a pizza.

i'm going for the saints, but won't be upset if the colts win. besides having your team win the superbowl this is the most enjoyable scenario to me (that is, not really caring who wins) - i just want a good game
