Fug. Star Wars is kind of dead to me now, but watching the little video clip on Amazon (top link above) totally stoked the fires of my old fandom. I kinda really want that book. I also kinda really want to punch George Lucas in the face.

I don't know how to shield my kids from the prequels. I guess it's just one of those harsh life lessons that I'll have to let them learn for themselves.

[2] don't be disappointed when they like them more, it's a generational thing, also the prequels are aimed at five-year-olds

That's a great shot. I was reading the comments on the article - I love the guythat asserts George Lucas had nothing to with the film's success. People are so strange.
