Murdoch and the Dolans--I wish both sides could lose, but it's the customers who do instead. Any chance of getting rabbit ears to pull the broadcast from over the air?
Get a digital converter box from Best Buy or Target (they still have them for sale) plus a powered antenna if you live in a low-altitude area or surrounded by buildings. Rabbit ears will not work without the DCB…
The link will take you to the gov's website for details about the box. I did installations for a while after the changeover, so I can tell you a thing or two (if you live near or underground, get the powered flat antenna; it'll save you a lot of headaches with acquiring signal).
Thereafter, you don't even need cable to get your local channels; how about that? >;)
MLB Gameday Audio solves the problem if you are just willing to listen. For $14.95 a season you can listen to any game, anywhere - even games you missed. It also solves the problem of Joe Buck (#8 above), as I'd rather turn on the TV (where available) and listen to the local radio announcers. I travel a lot and its with me everywhere on my notebook.
Cool, thanks.
I don't think I'm going to do it, since the audio won't sync with the Fox feed. I'm pretty happy with no sound, actually! I turn it back on now and then for the roar of the crowd.
I love DirecTV
Ha! I love not having Cablevision.

Those without FOX might want to check out http://www.ivi.tv/
FiOS here. And I'm starting to get psyched for the game after all! At least Game One.
Murdoch and Dolan..two spectacularly worthless human beings.
Oh, god, Joe Buck.
Cablevision has much to be said for it.
