It's nice that MLB is doing Gameday for the spring training games this year.
In previous years, they hid the URLs. You could still find them, but you had to sort of hack them, using the date home and away team names to figure out the URL. And they only updated after the inning was over.
Now they have Gameday on the front page, and it's updated each batter. The pitch counts still aren't accurate, but it's nice to have it.
[8] ooh, that's a shame. seems like there have been waaaay to many baseball deaths this past year... : (
[9] funny, i was going to rail on Alex for the barber poll. i have very long hair and a beard. haven't had a "proper" haircut at a barber in about 20 years! well, 'cept for once, when i did Locks of Love...
Alex - i'm preparing myself for the site changes as best i can. i'm sure i'll eventually come around to loving it. i'm all set with the current version, but i remember at first i didn't like the visual with 2 sidebars and a limited width of the main text. didn't take too very long to be all set with that.
but, straight outta the gate, i am not diggin' this gray bar at the top, at all. i'm not a great reader and it's visually very distracting. seems like the very limited options on it (user name, shortlink - whatever that is - and search engine), could be permanently on the sidebar, up top or something, and not needed on this annoying gray strip.
the polls don't come cheap and often get stolen....you know about the significance of the colors?...red for blood, blue for veins, and white for bandages....barbers used to be surgeons WAY the hell back. crazy huh?
thelarmis....there's room for everyone. even a long beard could use a trimming sometimes.
[13] that's cool about the colors. oh no, the beard is really really really minimal and close cropped. i just have a long pony tail. but it's all very well kempt! : )
yep, that's a good barber you got. now the key is to not charge $40 or $50 bucks for the luxury of it. gotta keep it affordable for everyone.
thanks thelarmis?...(what's the name even mean?)....yeah, if you steal shit from people who don't have much themselves, FUCK YOU. unless you're stealing cuz you're literally starving...but then you could have just asked me and i'd get you a sandwich.
And I don't get YES. Nerts. It's repeated tonight on MLBTV
I heart Montero.
Oh man, Dellin B was throwing some chedder there in the 5th.
a ribbie for the Jesus
Betances k's the side and hits 97 on the gun.
pork ribs slow cookin' in the oven.
all of this pleases me.
Holy cow. Andy Sisco is listed at 6'-10", 270 lbs.
[5] i am basically a foot shorter and half his weight. good lord.

Oh wow, Duke Snider has died.

alex, digging the barber poll. i just got my license out here in sunny california. i'm a barber now if anyone needs a cut and a shave. thanks a lot.

just my 2 cents...
9) That's really cool about being a barber. Man, I've always wanted to have a barber pole in my apartment. LOL. I've always loved those things.

thus making any barber proud.
i can't believe people would steal a barber pole. i mean, who would do that?! i hope that never happens to you, brian...
[13] Yes, Hot Towels!! They do that here right after the haircut, give you a short head massage too..feel like a new man!
