There’s something about the water that scares me. I’m not afraid to go in the ocean and I like to swim. But when I see something sinking, man, it hits me right in the gut and brings on a kind of panic. It’s primal fear.

So just imagine it's a thousand years from now and global warming has extinguished all life from the planet. Aliens arrive on the scene and do their best to put together the story of the creatures who once lived here, and their oceanographers eventually discover a fleet of subway cars off the coast. What the hell might they think?
