For some reason he apologized for that line a few years ago (maybe 5 years ago) and he changes it in the live versions now. That's even more unusual, because the line about "white girls" is just a set up for the next.

Also, from my experience, sounds like he hadn't met too many Chinese girls when he wrote that song. "Gentle" is not the word that comes to mind.
