Word has it the Yanks would also like to bring Fab Five Freddy back too:

Cashmoney!

[1] I'm a lot less sanguine about that - unless its to get someone else who wants him to sign him before 12/7, so the Yanks can offer arbitration and net a draft pick.

No reason Noesi, Warren, Phelps, Mitchell et al. couldn't do what Triple F could do - and they are cheaper and will be around a lot longer.

Resign Freddy and ship AJ (along with a lot of $) to the NL West?

Game tonight, in Taiwan. 9 pm on MLB network. I believe Robbie's on the team.

Of course I was thinking of that track when I saw the title...

I can actually picture CC Rap and Cash Man performing a modified version of this at their joint press conference...

Not a big fan of Cash any more, but I do have to give him credit for this year. The Yanks had a strong bench, great bullpen, above average starting pitching. Ironically, in the end, it was the Yanks hitting that led to the Yanks elimination.

I was ready for a change from Cashman, but I would be even happier if Levine was shipped away.
