Sweet Lou will join the Cavalcade of Stars in the YES booth this year. Wonder if they’ll pair him up with Paulie O? That’d be worth watching.

So, just how many YES announcers are there? And of them, how many do I actually like?
Lou and Paul? I'd pay cash money to listen to that.
[1] There's only one to hate, that would be Sir Michael Kay.
[2] What, Coney's not gonna be on YES anymore?
[4] Don't know, is he on MLBN? Or is that just Al Leiter? I think a lot of these guys just do a few games a year.
Love me some Lou. I think he would be hilarious in the booth. Like Scooter hilarious. My favorite was when he was managing the Ms. He would talk about his players by saying things like, "Yeah, the Rule 5 kid, he's lookin real good"
Cash also signed David Aardsma to (essentially) the 60-Day disabled list... E@#$ speculates this is mainly a Jon Leiber move; let him heal and redevelop himself after Tommy John surgery then see what he can give you next year. If it works, it's a very shrewd deal.
They might not want to admit it, but it's time to put the Inevitable Plan into action, if they already haven't. Who knows if they ever get anything out of Feliciano, but Aardsma could hedge their bets on that and on what they do with Joba next season (if he's still around).
Fucking A, this is awesome!
I have no idea if he'll be any good or not but Jesus, this could be great!
I hope he'll be himself and tell stories. Lots and lots and lots of stories.
[8] Wow, I had no idea you were such a big Aardsma fan! (I bet Diane is very pleased.)
[8] Easy now, killer, it's just a roster move... >;)
Nobody is gone. Just another guy in the mix. Probably won't do all that many games.
I Love Sweet Lou! Hope they drop Flaherty and Leiter. Keep Kenny S, Cone and Lou on a rotating basis.
Forget who it was who told the story of watching Lou take a leak, smoke a ciggy and eat a sandwich at the same time..while doing an interview. Classic!
Lou provided one of my greatest live game memories. On a church-group outing saw him hit a game-winning homer at the Stadium. I can't remember if it was the original or the "new" one. I think it was the original. We "Loooou'ed" him good.
