A sore shoulder could be what’s been ailing Michael Pineda. David Waldstein has more in the Times.
Good thing for the Yanks they’ve got plenty of arms to fill out the starting rotation.

Just tendinitis, from LoHud. Phew.
The next time the yanks shepherd a big time pitching prospect to majors without incident will be the first I remember. (I don't remember Pettitte's milb career, he just appeared in the show one day for all I knew back then.)
Seems The curse even extends to other organizations development. Only took the yanks a few weeks to undo all the ms good work with Pineda ;)

i miss the jesus...
[4] I agree. It'll be years before the deal can judged properly but it is off to a scary start.
[5] Y'know, people keep saying this but it might not be very many years. It's quite possible Pineda crashes and burns in very short order.
dante bichette with TWO first-pitch homers!
jesus who?! (kidding)
[6] that's the spirit! ; )
OT - i'm just realizing, the Banter clock has not sprung ahead with daylight savings...
[9] Oh, the whole country switched back. What, nobody told you?
[10] i'm always the last to know about these things.
[10] i'm going to use this on my gig later. if i'm late, miss a set and docked pay, it comes out of your pocket. deal?
20 collective runs thus far in today's contest, thru 8. there's only 1 team in the double digits, fortunately it's the yankees!
I want my Montero back.
Seattle can have him back again when Pineda's ready to pitch.
