I really want to see a Marlin home run.

[1] Whaddya think of the their new joint? I definitely could do without all the loud neon green colors. Can't argue with fish tanks, though.

[2] Eh, it's Miami, I'm just glad they didn't go with pastels. I just can't warm up to pastels. From what I've seen so far, it's fairly pedestrian, with just a few pieces of bling. Don't like that the Marlins are going to have a whole bunch of different uniforms.

Randy Choate is still pitching?

[4] Jamie Moyer is still pitching. Always good to have at least one MLer older than me.

5) And he's the Rockie's number two starter! Dag.

I basically like the new Marlins place, definitely has a distinct "Miami" feel. A Camden Yards ripoff just wouldn't feel right in the middle of Little Havana.

But that shade of green? Shit has got to go

[6] He has "character"!
I'm so into the new Marlins park. I love stadiums that have local flavor, like Safeco, Dodger Stadium, Bratwurst racing in Milwaukee, "Cotton Eyed Joe" in Yankee Stadium...err...maybe not that one..
