Where has the time gone?? Seems like yesterday I had this on continuous repeat. At work some of guys play Pandora channels on a couple of the workstations; along with Pharcyde (Passing Me By), one of the songs that came up was "Radio" by LL Cool J. I was a little nonplussed when I realized that the song came out almost 27 years ago. What a journey from there to Pharcyde (as opposed to the present vegetative state modern Hip Hop is in, Lupe Fiasco notwithstanding)... yet they always reminded me of Native Tongues-West or "The Lighter Side of Public Enemy"... >;)

[2] Yep. I met Tha (Alkaho)'Liks way back when they were introduced by King Tee; they came to the house I was sharing with other Howard U students in DC and one of my housemates was a local VJ; then another friend of mine who was an up-and-comer begged to come by... They were almost appropriately named (they should have been called "Tha Alkaholikthamadbuntz".
