Always Be Closing

The Heat look to win it all tonight. OCK aims to take the series back home.

I’d love to see the Thunder pull one out here but my money is on the Heat.

I think Miami wins tonight, but if they don't, OKC wins three in a row. Of course, I could see Miami winning another one in OKC.

Does that cover everything?

Miami has to be the favorite but if they show fatigue I think OKC will come all the way back.

Hope the Heat win, LeBron gets MVP and then at the press conference just sits silently with two middle fingers raised to the press.

[3] Make that three middle fingers...

[4] Uh-oh, I'm being slow again Chyll, I don't get it..

[5] It's just Will being Chyll.

It's reassuring that NBA announcers are as inane as MLB announcers.

[7] I'm just following silently online..who is announcing? I find Jeff Van Gundy to be kind of annoying..really, only Marv Albert should be allowed to call the Finals.

[8] You know, other times I've liked Van Gundy. Tonight he's just saying things that are obvious and uninformative.

[9] Sounds like vinage Van Gundy c. 2001. I heard him on Kay's show on E@#$ radio a couple of weeks ago; he had a grudge against Don LaGreca for giving his brother Stan the business after he was fired, but wouldn't actually come out and say it. Rather than either recuse himself or just come out and say what was bothering him, he was trite and rather peevish during his spot; LaGreca asked him straight out if the two had a problem and Van Gundy was as non-committal to an answer as one can get. It didn't reflect well on him, even if he may have had a right to be mad at the way the interview may have been conducted. But basically it confirmed my belief that it was time for him to leave the Knicks when he did, and I would have been surprised if they had hired him back regardless of how well he coached them before; he seems to wear out his welcome after a while wherever he is.

[4,5] I won't explain it, I'll just say I agree with your vision threefold, Jazz...

[10] :)

Yeah, JVG seems like a guy who would wear out his welcome. Otherwise known as "buckshowalteritis".

Halfway home LBJ, take it to the bank in the 3rd Q and put these bums to sleep!

Triple-Double for LeBron. Awesome post-season.
