The Cardinals are finally showing signs of life...
Anyone know if the game will start on time or delayed/postponed due to weather?
[3] They showed bp on the field about an hour ago. Everything looked good to go. The tarp rolled up nicely on the side where it belongs.
If the animated weather map is to believed, it looks like a pocket of rain is skirting the edge of Baltimore, and is moving northeast, and clears the area by 9:30. However, if it's not raining there now, Baltimore may have just missed the system. So I would say at worst, there could be an hour or so of rain, but they will definitely get the game in.
Shit. Rain again. Delay again. Friggin' Baltimore!
Soriano: 2.6 WAR, 1.17 WHIP, 2.26 ERA.
This was a very good year, but not crazy good.
There is talk he will opt of of his last year with us.
Onviously, knowing if Mo is coming back is a big part of the equation, but I wouldn't mind puting that $14m elsewhere, and I would certainly NOT give hin any extension.
Opinions?
[5] Them weather radar map thingies are usually pretty good. It shows rain for the next 1.5-2 hrs.... and did show it clear until 7:30 ish.
[6] I agree, I would be happy to save the money. We have D-Rob, and Mark Montgomery is supposed to be very promising.
Looks like the Cards have Game 2 wrapped up now.
Fargin rain delay. [7] Then I may miss the game. Crap, missing that gunslinger face in the postseason.
From LoHud, a couple of tweets are saying 8:45 pm start.
I'm just passing through Baltimore on the train right now but don't see any rain out of the window. The forecast, however, calls for more rain later...if the game doesn't start until closer to 9, this could turn into a very late night.
Andy Pettitte is so old that this isn't his first playoff start in Camden Yards
Anyone got an update on the start time?
[13] any moment.
Jeter is stepping into the box, cult.
Hah!
Nice try, kid.
Captain!
Good start Cap'n.
[15] And now he's standing at 1B.
[14][15] Thanks!!!
Awwwww, a "Yankees Suck" chant already.
Stay classy, Bawlimor!
C'mon Ichi.
So far so good.
Alright, calling a 3 run Jimmy Jack for ICR.
Right here, right now!
Thanks Reynolds.
Oh, fer FUCK'S sake.
Dammit.
Jeez
Ugh
WTF! Leave it to Alex.
Man, he crushed it. Bad, bad luck.
That doesn't really seem fair.
Holy Christ on a Cracker Jack. That was bananas!
Only Ichiro
That was pretty damned amazing.
ICHI THE THRILLER!!!
DANCING LIKE FRED ASTAIRE!!!
Baseball is a silly game.
Those will start falling in.
[29] Appreciate the detailed commentary, as I'm currently watching "online" because TV#2 is temporarily unavailable and the wife is watching "Dancing With the Stars". (I am, too, though more of my attention is on the game.)
Holy CRAP
WOWIE ZOWIE!!!
All that tag the Yankees play in practice paid off!
[36] That was in reference to A-Rod, BTW.
What did Ichiro do, avoid a tag at the plate?
Ichiro hasn't broken out his break dancing skill since 1982.
And yet another terrible send by Robbie Thompson by the way.
[36] Well, the scoring play is gonna be hard to describe...
[40] Short answer yes, long answer ... well, the long answer would take too long, watch the replay when you have a chance!
=)
[36] Why watch Dancing with the Stars, you can watch Dancing with the Catcher for better family entertainment.
[40] I'll say. He ran around the catcher, who was blocking the plate, and behind the batters and catchers boxes, and then lunged back to the plate from the other side, diving over the catcher's outstretched mitt.
Wild first inning. Go Go Ichiro!
Andy P won't lose to these B'awlmore Bums.
Thanks the magic of TiVo (and my lovely wife), we've paused DWTS and switched over to the game so I can re-wind and watch the replay. holy cripes! You guys weren't kidding about the indescribable part! How did Ichiro pull that off?!?
[40] Twice. With Wieters standing there waiting for him.
1,2,3. num-num-num...
[42] When ICHIRO is out by ten feet, its always a bad send. Ichiro bailed him out
Cal Ripkin praises Andy. Same age?
Okay, now as long as this isn't one of those games where we kill the pitcher in the first but score only one run, and then go silent for the next eight innings...
10 pitches, 3 Orioles up, 3 Orioles down. Another postseason inning for dandy Andy.
Nice start to the start, Andy!
[48] Secret ninja skills.
[53] Pettitte is no stranger to 1-0 postseason games, though.
i'm in the kitchen with radio only, while i eat. back to the tv in the den in a bit. i'm dvr'ing in the next room!
[51] Considering how the ball deadened (like a killer in handball) off the wall, i thought Ichiro would have easily made it from first. Surprising he was 10 feet from home when the ball got near the plate.
But, you can never deny the powers of a Ninja.
Gameday says that Angel Hernandez's strike zone is a little tight tonight.
Smoltz will never let pass a chance at complaining if the O's pitcher gets squeezed.
[60] Yeah, that could be. Although maybe a little broad inside to lefties?
[62] Yes. But should anyone be surprised?
[63] Hernandez is very umportant (a great word coined serendipitously by OYF).
Would have been nice if Kaat was in the booth for this series instead.
[64] i saw that and cracked up. missed you last night. and i agree about offensive lineman; i thought the same thing. it's also the power of his first name! ; )
[64] OK now I can't figure a pattern. The 5th pitch to Martin was clearly in the zone, by Gameday, yet called a ball (guess Hernandez thought it was low enough). 1st pitch to Jones was in the same place as the first pitch to Wieters, just a little higher to Jones, yet for Jones it was a ball, for Wieters a strike. Then the 1st pitch to Reynolds was a little lower than to Wieters, and a ball.
Wow, the Golden God is in the Temple!
That's it, Andy. Beau-ti-ful!
I was eating dinner when I say "Dancing with Ichiro". I mean, what an amazingly bizarre play. Fantastic reaction by Ichiro, especially evading the 2nd tag attempt. I imagine that play is going to be replayed a LOT!
andy's a golden god!!!
btw, where's weeping been? i sure hope he's alright!
Dandy, Andy!
[68] only because the sukkot was taken down.
[67] it's angel hernandez.
'nuff said.
[68] Hey, I can't remember how Andy P got the "Golden God" nickname..was that from our long lost friend Weeping?
This might not be PC, but doesn't Buck Showalter seem like he has a little Asperger's Disorder, at least in his public persona?
[75] Yes, from Weeping. Whom we haven't had here since, I dunno, May?
This game seem familiar so far? A bit of a carbon copy of last night
[76] Going back to his first season with the Yanks - 20 years ago!!! - I always thought Buck was quite the showman and actor. Able to turn it on and off like a switch.
[75] i was just thinking about ol' W for B. I wonder what happened to him.
Angel's going to have everyone shaking their head tonight.
The yankees complete transformation of the DH position is nearly complete. The final step involves having a pitcher bat in the 9th spot as the DH.
angel hernandez should never be allowed on a major league field, unless he was cultivating the infield dirt in between innings. certainly never as a home plate umpire in the postseason.
[77] And I thought I'd been long gone.
A quick Google search suggests that it was July 14th was his last comment.
Good job, Speedy. Now steal three bases.
[83] I agree, but he must excel at some type of MLB umpire metric to be working the PS.
A 2 out rally killer would be nice.
[84] Wow, okay. Feels like longer.
Ichiro!
[82] And it will be a pitcher who almost never pitches.
[86] Umportance.
Two hard hit balls from A-Rod today
Alex ought to be 2 for 2. That's a good sign.
OK A-Rod, let's go . . .
[84] Hope all is well with our opera loving friend.
A-Rod has smoked two balls tonight, niiiiiice....
[86] pissing off both teams and causing arguments that result in ejections and, ultimately, fans cheering?
[91] Baby steps, plus he worked a walk yesterday. We should be so proud of him.
[95] Always bad when an umpire is infamous for his crappy umpiring.
Rats!
And right down the middle, too. Sigh.
[95] So you think it might be affirmative action?
Dang a hit.
Pettitte's a bum.
Happy 56th anniversary to Don Larson. I remember watching it with my mom, the greatest Yankee fan (rip)...so sndy gives up a hit.
The announcers imply irony that the number nine hitter would get the first hit. But sn't that where teams now place their best hitters, like their DH?
Ok, that was a little harder struck.
[104] Well, it's like rain on your wedding day.
c'mon andy!
get outta this unscathed...
Ruh roh.
Okay, this is less funny.
[106] A free ride, when you've already paid.
Not worried. Get'em, Andy!
Damnit.
That Orioles magic...
Damn it!
fuck. shit. piss. hell.
Sh*t
Crud.
Frack. That was NOT getting'em, Andy.
Terrible job by Swisher there. HIT THE FUCKING CUT OFF MAN.
Shit. I go downstairs to make dinner and THIS happens???
GRRRRR.
This is such a bullshit rally for the O's. Must stop now.
One more out. Chen's about to give it up.
[114] Wait, why was it magic?
Or was that irony?
He hits the cut off man they've got the final out without the run scoring.
[125] D'oh.
Maybe Swish got a little too used to playing first base during Tex's absence.
[120] Maybe, but he damn near got the runner before the second run scored. I guess the play would have been just as close if he hit the cutoff man, but maybe not.
[124] They're just so darn excitin' this year.
Who was saying this is reminding him of last night? Yanks score 1 run in the first, O's come back with 2 in the 3rd . . .
This is not going well.
Bend over Derek! Holy mother fucker!
Oh, man, Jetes. And Hardy doesn't score!!!
Wow.
Slack, Jeter, very slack.
But the captain is bailed out by poor base running.
ooh, we caught a break there!
get outta this now, andrew!!!
Base running mistake? Shut them down now.
"In play, no out" is much better than "In play, run(s)", so I'll take it. Cripes though Andy, this is not good.
Welp, all considering, it could have been worse.
[129] and andy was 1 pitch away from getting thru 3 with 30 pitches, like cc last nite...
OK, an out is good.
I missed that last play, was Jeter cookin' pasta but still got the out?
Huge mistake by Hardy there. You just can't do that in a playoff game.
Jeez. That coulda been a lot worse.
How does hardy not go?
[132] Wow is right. I turned the channel to the show my wife needs to see as soon as Jeter missed it. Your comment cheered me up.
The Yankees were both unlucky and lucky in the same inning. Maybe this will wake up the bats, and not be lulled by Andy's cruising.
[136] Grounder in the hole under Jeter's glove, which (i) a good SS would have had, and (ii) should easily have scored the run once it got into the outfield.
RI - some cardinals reliever named Trevor Rosenthal pitched today. does he know it was schmini atzeret/simcha torah or is the surname a ruse?
140) Ball jut under Jeter's glove and then Hardy might have looked at Jeter for a moment and thought he had the ball. Regardless, Hardy didn't look at his third base coach who was windmilling him to score. He stopped at third and by the time he saw his coach it was too late to start up again. Jeter had a smirk.
hardy does wear #2 b/c he idolizes jeter. maybe he felt bad that the old man couldn't make a routine play and wanted to bail him out.
also, balltumor is good at 1-run games...
[143] He couldn't see the play. He thought Jeter got it. He was looking back and didn't see the third base coach frantically telling him to keep going.
[148] Lucky sonovagun.
Score truck?
GAH.
Hits, people, just get hits.
[152] Non-out events!
Replays showed that A Rod faked Hardy out.
Ha. Good play by Alex. Rope by Teix!
good, tex.
[147] I dunno -- but 'Rosenthal' is not one of those names the goyim sometimes have just for fun, is it?
That was a weird game -- PH for both starters very early.
[154][155] HAH!
=)
Somebody needs to square up one of Chen's bullshit fastballs.
a-rod definitely deked him!
[158] ;) That's our A-Rod.
[159] How about Curtis who can hit lefties now Granderson? Where has he been, anyway?
I'm gonna have to mute this sucker. Smoltz even worse than Ripken.
good.
more non-outs, please!
Here we go!
[162] i had last inning on moot. smoltz is insufferable. i let that be known, every other comment last nite.
where were you, btw?
[162] Gameday has its limitations, but lack of crappy TBS announcers is not one of them.
Am I the only one that think Ripken is pretty good and seems to not be rooting for the O's?
OK come on Curtis.
Keep your goddman head in there Curtis.
[157] yeah, i'm guessing it's wrong half...
Of course it's Teix on 2nd. Shite!
Whew, I thought Tex was going to try to chug around there.
Nice job Curtis.
[161] There he is!
uh-oh. tex did NOT look good rounding that base.
PLEASE NO DP!!! PLEASE!!!
[161] I think that happened about 2 1/2 years ago ...
[173] He wasn't gonna score on Jones anyway
Nice and easy Nuney.
[167] ripken has been better than he is in the studio. smoltz is just brutal.
c'mon kid!!!
[165] I was coming home from a funeral last night, actually. It was in Albany.
OK, let's see if the lefty-hitting DH/backup middle infielder can have a non-out event here.
[157] Shhh, we're sneaky like that. 9th grade Latin class, we had a girl with last name of Goldsmith (or Goldman, forget 30+ years ago) who was Goyim. Even the teacher was surprised.
Not a strike. Come on.
c'mon angel, you blind fucking fuck!
That's not a fucking strike!
I don't care for Eduardo Nunez.
Jesus Fucking Chist!
Hey, no infield fly rule??????
FUCK YOU, NUNE555555555!!!!!!!!!
: /
The "dynamic bat" of Eduardo Nunez on display tonight
[180] yeah, my last name certainly doesn't scream out "chosen"! ; )
Dayum, i'm really hating Angel Hernandez right now.
[182] [183] 3rd pitch? Gameday agrees with you both.
Great job by the lefty hitting DH /sarcasm
OK Cap'n, let's get the Score Truck in here already!
[180] 'Goldsmith' is one of those cant-tell names, though. 'Rosenthal' is definitely not!
please tie the game, at the very least.
[184] You could be witnessing the Andruuw Jones Experience, be thankful for the little things in life ...
[154] Bush Leaguer.
Solid contact there...ため息。。
Jeter should have crushed that one.
Horse Shit!
what a bunch of fucking bollocks.
goddamn sonuva fucking fuck FUCK!!!!!
Is anyone else having trouble reloading?
Damn, Jetes.
Yikes, that was bad. Needed at least one run out of that.
I hate to say it but we all knew Jeter wasn't going to come through there. Guy is great, but his "clutchiness" is a myth.
Bases loaded, one out, and no runs. Holy cripes Girardi, as bad as Andruw Jones was in the last 3 months, what ever made you think that EDUARDO NUNEZ was somehow a better option as the lefty DH?!?!?!
I don't mind that Nunez is at DH. He's just spit the bit 2 fucking times. Dammit.
That was a huge bummer.
[194] You know, I've said this before, and I know it goes against everything Joe Girardi believes in, but a left handed pitcher doesn't mean you *must* put at least one bad right handed hitter in the lineup.
[194] I'll take the borderline Hall of Famer over Nune5 every day of the week and twice on Sundays. I don't care how dead he looked the last 3 months. What's more likely, that the last 3 months - of 100 or so PAs, might I add - were a fluke for Jones, or that Nune5 can hit like an average major leaguer?
Sorry if I'm sounding combative, I'm just really unhappy about that inning.
Ugh. What is going on?
good fucking lord.
this game is pissing me off...
Hm. Not a good day with the glove for El Capitan.
[201] He has a "dynamic bat"
No, I don't know why anyone thinks this.
Uh, nice throw there, Mr. Gift Basket.
=(
And now dj errs?
Double play, Andy?
[199] i had trouble in the 1st inning connecting to the site.
quick DP here, please!
ok, great!
NOW, a double play.
4 inches inside to righty is strike. 1 inch inside to a lefty is ball.
Not a good night so far for DJ.
[192] If you're in rural NY (which western Orange county was in the 1970s) it had only one context.
Ok, good night all. Game 2 of the divisional series vs. Work. Gotta save the "sick day" for a more important day.
Not to be disagreeable, but Nuñez is actually a good hitter against lefties. (Better than Andruw.)
Oh, thank god. Whew! Just foul.
[205] I dunno, I sorta think the giant fork sticking out of Andruuw's back might be some sort of clue ...
Jones couldn't hit water if you shoved him out of a boat in the middle of the ocean with an anchor tied to his ankle.
But that's just me.
Nice play, Alex.
good play, alex.
nune5 would NOT have made that play...
Good pick, Alex. That would have been a disaster.
[219] And, to finish my thoughts on the subject, if Joey Joe Joe *had* started Jones at DH AND he'd had the 2 at bats Nune5 had, the howls of outrage
good.
now...RUNS!!!
Hey, we did one of those Magically Positioned Fielders things!
[223] would have carried all the way to me, all by my lonesome on the far left coast ...
Damn. That's got to be the 5th time a shot up the middle looked ticketed to center and Robbie is just waiting for it.
[223] Well, sure. But they'd be towards Jones..don't think anyone here would be calling for Nunez though..anyhoo, Yanks are winning this game easily. No doubts!
[226] Think asked you before but I imagine you in Robert De Niro's house in "Heat", sitting on the bare floor with a laptop and glass of wine...doesn't everyone in California live like that? :)
[218] [219] I understand, but I respectfully disagree.
[223] [226] That I agree with, but they might not have been warranted. In any case, I have no desire to discuss Nune5 anymore, unless he drives in the game-winning run. ;) Then I will gladly retract my previous comments!
Losing patience.
Wonderful start. Fuck Chen.
Way to work the count, boys.
[229] Well, I *am* drinking a glass of wine ... sitting on a chair though!
=)
FUCK!!!!
What a godawful fucking inning.
Well, that inning sucked a bag of dicks.
Meh.
A 4-pitch inning. Don't see that very often.
That inning was a fucking Disgrace. 4 pitches. Nice job, fellas.
Way too easy
booooooooooo. 4 pitches. sigh...
Ok... should I sit in my chair from the 73 renovation for good luck?
Hey Douche Bags. THe game started 5 fucking innings ago!
jesus fucking h. christ.
wtf is going on with our infielders?
Jebus.
It's going to be one of THOSE nights???
Maybe I should just go to bed.
Sheesh.
Maybe not Tex
Nunez Career against LHP: .298, .332, .436, .768
Ibanez 2102 against LHP: .197, .246, .246, .492
Jones 2102 against LHP: .202, .294, .411, .705 (168 AB)
Right, Cal, home runs only count for half in the post-season.
Sit down Hardy!
very good.
RUNS!!!
Attaboy, Swish.
Okay, enough of this bull. Score truck time. Get at least one of those useless post-season homers that Ripken despises.
Nuff of this crap. Let's. Get. Some. Runs
This has been one strange game.
C'mon Cornflake, time to get things started!
You know Nick, if you hit the ball 800 feet, you still only get credit for 1 run ...
He swung at a ball over his head.
Chen should be throwing from a rocking chair.
why can't we hit this fucking tool???
: /
hardy continuing to play to his jeter idolatry!
Make 'em pay! Let's fucking hammer Chen!
Sigh.
Fug.
curtis is kinda useless right now : (
Or just continue making him look like Koufax.
Ugh and Oy. Hope Andy can get them 3 more outs.
This is one dumb-ass funny game. And no fun. Kinda like why cannibals don't eat clowns, because they taste funny.
REALLY ugly way to start the inning.
[266] ...without giving up any runs.
At least we have a dynamic bat leading off next inning.
Ballgame.
what a bunch of bullshit.
game on mute.
Fucking Robbie can't dive?
Blast! God I HATE baltimore.
Awesome.
Wait a second, Cano didn't get that? Does he think he's Jeter?
Hey Good idea. I just hit mute too. Much better.
Now, how about a double play?
My Mixing and Matching senses are tingling.
Big Jim Thome always reminds me of Big Jim Slade.
1 out. Phew.
Nice job Andy.
Andy had 'em all the way. Now score some fucking runs.
good job, andrew eugene.
Andy looks pissed! I like it. Now, let's get 'em back, fellas!
That's more like it.
[279] my oh my.
Great start Andy. How bout the y 's give you a lead?
Please jump start the score truck this inning, I gotta get ready for work.
Hit you pitch here, Nuney! Or just take a walk.
Let's go Nunie!
Good hustle Hoss!
Dynamic Bat!
Dy-no-MITE!
Edgar Martinez like!!!
now steal 3rd.(make sure you're safe!)
Nice hustle, Nuney!
Ladies and Gentlemen: Our 2015 starting shortstop
Redemption time, DJ.
See, Nunie, can make a bloop a double.
captain's gonna bunt...
Nice hussle nunnie
[294] Nice! I had to think about that reference for a second...
Andrew Jones can't do that, boys.
Ladies and Gentlemen: Our 2014 starting shortstop
C'mon Gift Basket!
Ach, whadda ya swinging at?
glad he's not bunting, but that was rising high right away. stay off that shit!
[296] No.
But yay for right now!
2-strike bunt! ; )
Andrew Jones would have been thrown out at 1st on that play.
cy chen over 100 pitches...
YES!!!
an earned run. finally!
Hell Yeah! CAPTAIN!!!!
Andrew Jones would have been thrown out at 2nd on that play.
Yay, Captain!
I'm a little surprised they sent Nunez, but he scored with ease.
Nice!
Andruw Jones would have been thrown out at 2nd on that one ...
Alright. Now get six more.
[309] yes, but Andruw Jones, would've hit a homerun.
Captain!
Nice, and Nuney made that run from second look easy on that shallow hit to the OF.
YES. Wouldn't it be nice if Alex came up and didn't something big this inning?
[313[316] Can "Andruw Jones would have been thrown out on that on.." be the new "That's what she said"?
I knew tha Yanks would come back!
instead of a bunt, it should be hit 'n run with these 2 guys.
Nice so happy about those 2 bunt attempts. Grrrrrrrrrr......
[322] i want andruw to do well, so we can use chick corea's "tones for JONES bones" : )
Flick one over the 3rd baseman's head.
i really wish jete had been running on the pitch...
Well, meh.
C'mon, Alex. You can do it...what "it" is I don't know. How about not making an out. That's a start!
I think its cute that any of you think Andruw would have made contact
A hit would be nice
[330] I don't think that sentence means what you think it does ...
O'Day, the rematch. Alex had one good pitch to hit last night from O'Day. It was the first one. He put a good swing on it but fouled it back.
How the hell does Ichiro get down the line so fast? I've been reading about it for years but it is sort of crazy...
C'mon ICR ... be the YAY-ROD you were meant to be!
Oh, Christ, there's not much hope in this matchup.
I just hope no one gets hurt
c'mon A-rod. show your talent.
Time for a flashback
pulled the string. damn.
The 0-1 pitch was sort of like that cookie last night.
alex's lips aren't very purple.
ichiro got a great jump there...
Dammit. He had that stolen.
Ah, shit. Down 1-2. Hang in there, bro!
Maybe he'll get hit by a pitch.
that 2-2 pitch, too close to take. Had to hack at it.
not even close or worth an appeal.
OK, Alex, way to hold up. Now DRIVE one.
C'mon, ALEX!
That was pretty damn predictable.
a-rod's not even a singles hitter anymore...
Fucking hopeless. High frisbee garbage.
Dammit.
Meh.
That sucked.
Looked like a cookie right down the middle and he wasn't even close....
[321] Your typo was predictive.
You notice Arod ran to the clubhouse after that. Petulant too.
[334] He's already running while he's swinging.
C'mon Cornflake ... go big or go home.
Buck Showalter brought in a pitcher to issue an intentional walk?
nice easy basehit, buddy!
Little bingo!
[360] yeah, never a good idea.
[357] He's probably checking the video tape. Apparently, he really never stops thinking about and working on hitting.
we need a Swish Knocker!
If it's a strike. Hit it hard.
bollocks.
Glad Nick tried to hit a homer there. A single wouldn't have done it.
FUCKING FAIL!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH.
STABBY FUCKING DOGSHIT!!!!!
That's all for me today (except for by iPhone). I hope they have a rally left in the tank.
Stay thirsty, my friends.
Anybody else surprised andy is still in?
A little surprised Andy still out there.
Holy crap. Andy 123
Final note, just so you guys know what Jazz and I are dealing with in Japan. In the middle of our 7th inning rally, NHK cuts off the game for news. It will not come back on.
With out MLB.com we'd be clueless.
Atta baby, Teix!
great hit, but he can't run for shit.
Dear Team,
No double plays.
Smoltz you worthless fucking Shill!
Jeez, think he'll whiff?
hit it out, curtis.
[379] or "schill"...(ing)
see john, baseball IS predictable.
Wow, Curtis struck out. That's as shocking as Alex striking out.
Oh ... Curtis ...
Jesus fucking CHRIST Nunie, calm the fuck down.
0-2, now HE'S cooked...
way to lay off. C'mon, make a mistake with the fastball...
2-2. I say he goes fastball up high or breaking ball low...
what a fucking waste.
Damn shame. Andy pitched a really strong game, too.
2 hits in a row is far too much to ask for.
Load.
Of.
Bollocks.
That was pathetic.
I think it was a mistake leaving Andy in.
Well, it might not quite have been *golden* but that's all we could ask from Andy tonight.
Well done, sir ...
Thanks andy for giving us a chance
[394] Needed to wait for the right hander to come up.
Hold them here, Hammer so the top of the order can get 2 in the 9th.
Ok robby

I love rooting for Alex. Breaks my heart when he does poorly. This bites. Now, I'll have to hear how bad he sucks from all the Yankee fans at work tomorrow. And I can't argue with them, either.
Well, that was a failure pile in a sadness bowl.
Fuck.
See y'all Wednesday.
