[3] I always thought Chad Curtis was kind of creepy. Remember when he "spoke for the team" and refused to talk to Jim Grey in the World Series? Or yelled at Jeter for "fraternizing with the enemy?"
I recently watched the highlight film from the 99 Series - it helped with the recovery from the season - and Curtis claims that his teammates said they were happy he was able to hit two homers in one of the games because "he was a good person."
I was struck by the feeling that he had made that up.
