There are four new movies that have been well-reviewed and have got me excited to go the theater. They are Captain Phillips, Gravity, 12 Years a Slave, and All is Lost. Oscar time came early this year, huh?

Yeah, I am psyched for all four of those myself. I did see RUSH and really enjoyed it.
Ron Howard strikes!
[2] It's a good subject for him, I suspect he's a gearhead (Hey, he did make Grand Theft Auto for his feature debut). The two male leads were both very good and avoided caricature. Howard needs a good script, and he has it.
3) Now if someone could get one to Spike Lee...
I highly recommend Senna (2010) if you guys are into F1. Truth is sometimes better than fiction.
[5] I have had others recommend that to me and it's on Netflix, so I will check it out. I just watched a very cool doc about the NY Cosmos called ONCE IN A LIFETIME on Netflix the other night as well as the new-ish Levon Helm doc, I AIN'T IN IT FOR MY HEALTH
