I wish I could refuse to get my hopes up, but I can't. I told a friend that Cano wouldn't sign with the Mariners in a million years. I still don't know how that one got away.

I need one more Christmas present. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeease.

I have a good feeling about this. Tanaka signed with Jeter and Teix's agent. That's a very good start, and possibly a signal that he wants to pitch in the Bronx.
He's exactly what the Yankees need. A young starter with top-to-middle-of-the rotation potential. I hope we get him, and trust that the Yanks are all-in on him.

Having Kuroda on board to take him under his wing for a year can't hurt either. Plus there's the legendary Ichiro!

5 years, $100 million? 6th year vesting option?

Wherever he signs I hope he's closer to Darvish/Kuroda than Dice-K for talent and entertainment value.

4) Never mind Hurricane Hideki and Kei Igawa.

I thought Gyroball, Fat Toad, and AAA Yankee Innings pitch king went w/o saying.

[2] As a Dodger fan who thinks Tanaka will sign w/ the M's, His agent also reps both Greinke & Kershaw

8) yeah, I know Close represents Greinke and Kershaw. I take that as a sign Tanaka may be interested in pitching for the Dodgers as well as the Yankees. Mariners? Your guess is as good as mine.
