Down 1-0 after 6, man, it looked like another one of those nights. But then the Yanks scored 5 runs, added another one late on a solo home run by Jacoby Ellsbury, as they beat the Jays 6-3.
Nice job by Chris Capuano who told reporters after the game, “I couldn’t be prouder to get a win as a Yankee. It feels really good.”
It ain’t over.

The bad news is that Masahiro went back to New York. Man, just shut the kid down, no?
Oof. Well, if it's really just "general arm soreness," then no, don't shut him down. But if that's a cover-up for an elbow problem, then yeah.
I just don't get the desperation they are putting into getting him to pitch when he's hurt. If they dodged a bullet by him not being so hurt to have surgery, then why rush him back and risk losing him for far more time, if not forever? Besides, the larger issue with this team is the offense. Seems like this team just grinds their own young pitchers into bad hamburger meat year after year (if I'm not mistaken, Josh Johnson and the Marlins had a similar issue with Girardi years back). Something's gotta give.
Shitty start.
