Wonder if it’ll be another one run game?
Jacoby Ellsbury CF
Brett Gardner LF
Alex Rodriguez DH
Mark Teixeira 1B
Brian McCann C
Carlos Beltran RF
Chase Headley 3B
Didi Gregorius SS
Stephen Drew 2B
And our dude Nova.
Never mind prosperity:
Let’s Go Yank-ees!
Ha! Nice DP, Drew
Matinee tomorrow? Gonna be on the road, probably western PA turnpike by that point. I hate the PA turnpike.
Yay, a run! Nice hitting Brett & myself.
Two more! Good Mark.
Nice defense
To add to Michael Kay detail on Keller. Career OBP was .410!
I remember him from 1949 Yankees, first year I followed team. Platooned with Cliff Mapes, also Gene Woodling in LF. Biggest eyebrows I've ever seen...
Aw crap
Shit!
Good bounce back. Now get those runs back.
Beauty of a sunset
[10] " you took the words right outta my mouth..." (Meat Loaf)
More good defense. Need one more out here.
Headley's arm is going to cost the Yankees a playoff game.
There ya go!
Kapow! bomb!
What a mitzvah Arod 2015 model. I think Jeter's absence allows him something internal.
I projected preseason on Banter that ARod would get/I'd be happy with .280/20 for the year. He's reached that already.
This Gold Bond ballet commercial has got to be a foot fedishists dream.
I know fetishist
Good work, Ivan.
[18] I'm a loyal Gold Bond user, though waver on the foot fedish-ism.
[17] Amazing, isn't it? I don't think anyone would have said he had a shot at 30 HRs but now he's on the way.
Night all, got 300+ miles to drive tomorrow, will check in after the afternoon game.
[22] Happy Motoring!
Listen to Ma &Pa if you can.
Teixiera a is unreal.
Tex looking to hit .300!
Bollocks.
Ooops, I almost said it was over...
Now it's over! Another close win.
Awesome. This first place deal is nice. Cheers, all.
See, it had to be a one-run game.
And, holy cow, how good as Tex been? Really fluid in the field, too.
[6] Good stuff on Keller. Too bad he had lower back problems. I've got a 1940s Keller model glove
[6] 1949 wow. King Kong Keller indeed!
Great win. The only negative I can take from this game is that Drew made some nice plays to justify his pathetic existence.
Someone needs to do a Tonya Harding on him. We need Ref in the line up.
Man, yeah, another one-run game.
It's very gratifying, but it's also a little worrying. Playing at this level of competence/excellence just can't produce the win rate that it's been producing for the last month. Good thing the pinstripes have built up a bit of a cushion.
I think it will be a tight race in September. But, definitely enjoying the success now!
(Also, the Red Sox are really bad, in all phases of the game, highly gratifying.)
