Big Papi did plenty of barking last night and with Nathan Eovaldi on the hill you’ve got to figure he’ll do some biting today. I’m thinking a couple of homers. He is, after all, dynamite on the big stage.
Yanks in the roll of underdog, go figure. Let’s see if they can scrap out another win.
Never mind the theatrics:
Let’s Go Yank-ees!
And away we go
Big Babi strikes out
alex - you're so right about Big Babi getting an unfair pass due to reputation. i was told my wife last night it's a bunch o' bollocks. yeah, if A-Rod acted like that he'd be the most evil human ever. fat liar gets lauded for caring. what a fucking fat piece o' shit that asshole is. i've never liked him and cannot wait for him to retire. i'd absolutely LOVE it if he gets busted for PEDs this season : )
Do my eyes deceive me?

triple digits for Eo
Got one in
Eo for the 8th
Way to go, Eo!
I like this, the Yankees should do this more often
[31] That's almost exactly what I just logged on to say.
It's actually fun to watch Nate blow 98mph heaters past Red Sox in the late innings.
And, of course, runs. Runs are funs.
Romine...again!!
One down
Two down.
Three down!
Yay!
Well, go figure. Completely dominated them, without Jacoby, and with a mere Eovaldi on the mound. Can't predict.
I attended this game as a Christmas present from two of my sons and their families, including three grandchildren ages 11, 9, and 5. Enjoyed it thoroughly, especially with three Yank bench players on the field. Also a pleasure to see Pedroia and Papi go 0 for 8. As a true Yankee fan, I did not lord it over my daughter-in-law, a dedicated Red Sox fan from Boyleston.
Meanwhile this happened in baseball:
