Well, just like most years, these days, Cashman only shops at the dollar store. Expect nothing better than Simmons or Didi at SS, another Andrew Heaney type pitcher and a bunch of propaganda for Volpe, Perla, Wells, etc. Then come the trade deadline qhen they team is again in 4th place maybe he'll trade for some names that his buddies in the media will overhype, but resulting in no improvement on the field.

I wonder whether the next CBA will be better or worse for rich teams in search of free agents. I guess Cashman is banking on 'better'.

Maybe when the Mets dominate the media due to their spending and or winning the Steinbrenner gene will activate and wake Hal up from his f'ng coma.
