Fucking Bollocks. I'm going to the Yankees-Pirates game on the Saturday after Opening Day. Hope it doesn't snow and it's not a lineup of AA no names. Sigh.

Looks like Stroman will be a starter for the Yankees.

ASB 2026, and don’t expect much from Cole next year.

I can't remember if Cole opted out or merely made noise about opting out. I wish they'd have let him walk if it was an option. Will Fried be the opening day starter or if Rodon might take the hill.

Soto, Cole, those two losses together must cost the Yankees ten wins this year. Might recover some of those with Fried and Bellinger, but... my expectations are low.

[3] Cole did opt out, but the Yankees used their option. IIRC it took about 24 hours to resolve the issue.

Losing Soto hurts more. The Boss would never have let the Mets, the freaking Mets, outbid him.

The Yankees look to be in midseason form. Tonight, runners on first and second, no outs, and no runs.

Now Schmidt has a sore shoulder. Joey Gallo is switching to pitching. Yankees might sign him to a MiLB deal.

Awful news, Brett Gardner’s 14 y.o. son died, undisclosed illness.
