The film is really terrific - I love how the song develops.
1. No question, Starbucks serves great coffee. There are certainly better boutique joints, if you have the time and money. (I know a couple in Ginza). But for an easy to find, SMOKE FREE!!!!, venue to enjoy coffee (or purchase beans), Starbucks wins hands down. I know you hate anything corporate, but there's no denying quality.
2.I might even splurge for a Golden Seat at 80,000 yen, and I've seen them 5 times. They are still very much worth it, my friend.
Wait, don't tell me you are even mildly suggesting that these guys are doing it for anything other than the love of the music and the love of performing at this point.

That shit is cool. I recently picked up the guitar again and started a band with friends. I figured, why not. Just cause i'm in my 40s? Anyhow, i've grown this new found love for watching bands create their goods. Watched a documentary on the dead kennedys making an album a couple of months back and was just fascinated. Of course I went on to do my best Jello Biafra impersonation on one of our songs (it actually fit well) right after that. Love this goodness. And Godard eh? nice.
last May, my college roommate and I stumbled into $80 tickets to see them in Toronto. We drove up the morning of the show and came back the next day. It was completely worth it.
Would I do it again? Not at all. But I have no regrets whatsoever.
