Broncos vs the Pats, Niners vs the Seahawks.
Man, I sure would love to see Peyton get back to the Super Bowl but I’ve been nervous all week about the AFC Championship. I would never bet against Brady and I wouldn’t today, either. Which is a drag because I really don’t want to see the Pats back in the Big Game.
Ugh. Oh, well. I’ll be watching and rooting either way.

Rooting for the Broncos and Seahawks (lived in Seattle for a year.)
Meanwhile I have to figure out a way to pay for a new furnace.
[0],[1] It worked for Peyton, guys; thanks!
Aie, sorry about the furnace.
Man, that Sherman guy is a clown, huh? Great player but what an insecure douche. That second game was really good. Both teams seem so much tougher than the AFC guys. Still, super pleased for Peyton.

I did. Not sure if that makes me want to root for him but it certainly educated me about him. He seems like a shrewd guy. Hey, everyone loves a bad guy, right? And he apparently feeds off it. I think that that Seattle defense will be enough to vex Peyton...
[5] Yeah, but I think Seattle's more likely to make dumb penalties and mental errors. I'll take the old guy.
It's not so much that it makes me want to root for him, but you can't write him off as some cheap thug. So he yelled a lot and made an ass of himself on TV. So what? Lots of athletes are doing actual bad things.
6) See Hernandez, Aaron.
[7] That's my point - or Ray Lewis, who we're all supposed to love now, apparently. Sherman is a big mouth, but the life he's lead is impressive and he happens to be one of the best players in the NFL.
One last read on the subject:

Sherman's outburst got the gas-face in my living room. I watched the games with my wife, sons, and in-laws. We thought he spoiled the moment for Seattle, acting like a bad winner, which is even worse than a good whiner.
But I asked one of my boys about it tonight, and he didn't think it was a big deal. My 11 year old guy said, "He [Sherman}was happy they won, but he got crazy. He was better when they interviewed him later."
Sherman might have turned some undecided fans against Seattle, and the media's going to talk about it non-stop until something else comes up, but I'm over it already.
I'm looking forward to a good Super Bowl. and rooting for Eli's brother, not against Sherman.
[4] Dude smacked down the Prune-of-Evil?
Go Seahawks!
YO Al!
How come Manning says "Omaha" instead of Hike!? What's the story?
