The Giants thumped the Royals but good last night and now the Whirled Serious is tied, 2-2.
The Game 1 starters return for a critical Game 5, the final game by the Bay. Be interesting to see if James Shields can finally deliver the kind of start we’ve seen from him for years in the AL.

Let’s Go Base-ball!

Good chance it goes 7.
Is Fox actually making a stadium full of people (and us viewers types) wait for the start of a World Series game because of fartball?
I'd love for the Royals to win tonight and for Shields to be terrible. That is all. : )
Shields isn't helping his next contract lately. He can help get you to the post season, but he tends to disappear in big games.
So, a pitching duel so far.
Root-root-rootin' for the Giants.
Mad-Bum!
So far Shields had scratch em out runs scored on him, and Bumgarner has been ridiculous. I'm cool with the Giants winning like this, and Shields keeps his pride. The Yanks could use him, but not for the most elite money. He eats up innings, and gives his team a chance just about every time.
Lorenzo Cain is his name, great catch. The Royals are my second favorite team in the post season, but my second favorite team in the World Series.
I know I'm babbling, but it's gonna be a long time for baseball soon.
I wonder how Bumgarner/Kershaw match ups had been this year? I'll have to look them up.
[8] Heh. The Band reference. I watch The Last Waltz at least yearly. RIP, Levon.
The Band are a North American treasure, and Levon is holy to me.
Gotta get up in the early am, night all.
Is Joe Panik Buster Posey's little brother?
[13] I know the resemblance is uncanny
