Let’s Go Yank-ees!

Marry me, Meredith.
In other new, OBJ is the Madden 15 cover.
I'll take that.
And that as well.
Good hustle, Ellsbury!
On the Mark!
Good job, Mark
Nice work, McCann.
Now keep going, guys, don't pull a last night!
Not good.
Hoo boy.
This game is not going to end 2-1
Take that, shift!
Why in the fuck were the shifting on Ellsbury?
How bizarre.
Shift that bitches.
It seems we are of one mind on the shift.
Oh my God.
What the fuck was that?
Heh.
That was funny.
You got lucky, Didi
Gregorius has been doing so well of late, too.
[19] Great range.
Oh, Brett.
[20] :)
That was fucking low.
God.
Ugh.
That was not a crisp double play.
But it's done.
Rays radio guys: 'Carlos Beltran out in right field really is looking like a DH these days..' :(
What's up with Posada? Just trying to sell some books I guess? (A-Rod, Clemens comments)
[28] Well, it's not entirely out of character for him, is it?
I'm not the least surprised.
Drew is no Nettles.
[29] No, I'm not surprised either.
Not surprised about Warren, either.
Well, let's win this damn thing anyway.
In a race between Alex and Carlos, who wins?
The turtle.
I love this, beating the shift.
Goddamnit!
What???
Ellsbury doesn't make outs. What's this?
I have to say, this is the kind of game I was expecting to see a whole lot of this year. Pitching not quite good enough, hitting not quite good enough, bad base running squandering what slim opportunities arise.
I can take a game or two of it, though, because of how well these guys played the last three weeks.
[35] I'm so good, I don't want to embarrass other players by constantly getting on base.
Hahahahah!
I was hoping for a split in Tampa. Two trips in the early season is bad scheduling. Maybe the club can rally or win tomorrow.
Once again the offense had the pitcher on the ropes in the first and failed to knock him out.
Warren pitched surprisingly well, too.
Why is the closer up when you are down a run?
Cashman has done some great things (Pineda trade, bullpen staffing) but Stephen Drew and Carlos Beltran have just been complete strike-em-outs..
[43] Beltran is actually hitting .319 over the past two weeks.
And [42] (good comment number for a comment on a closer) it's not a bad idea. Trailing by a run late is a pretty high-leverage situation. Better than bringing him in for a three-out save up by 3...
Closer needs work.
[44] Watching him in the field makes me sad, he's just aged..
Enough with the not-getting-on-base thing, Jacoby! It's getting old.
[47] Sorry. I blame my allergies.
Blergh. Night all.
