Was at my daughters first sports field day at her new jr.-sn. high. It was Africa hot and sunny. For some reason Japan is in love with artificial turf. I was getting baked alive. Every chance I got, I escaped to the shade to catch the game oh my iPhone.
BTW, between events I heard "All About That Base" blasting through the sound system. Japan. Go figure.
Saw Chase's AB. Big Chocolate was fine as cherry wine. That was quite a shot by Alex, which Kay totally ruined with his idiotic "long fly ball" call. He has been doing play-by-play forever and he still has no clue if the ball is going out.
D&A did the shut down honors. And that's the way you draw it up, my friends.
