Dickey vs. Young today in Toronto. You can count on the Jays tying the series up.
Mets and Cubs move to Chicago tonight. Man, tough order for the Cubbies, what with deGrom going for Los Mets.
Never mind the chill:
Let’s Go Base-ball!

Blow Jays getting roughed up.
This is the first (non-Yankee) post-season game I've been able to watch.
What a nail-biter.
Damn. Two touchdowns for the Chiefs.
And the Argonauts only got a safety.
Well hey. Happy for the angst the Jay fans are experiencing. No sympathy.
Which is why you shouldn't shift to lead off.
The blue jays loss pleases me. Go Cubs!
Well I'm off to a conference for the rest of the week. Night whoevers here.
Let's Go Mets!
[9] This is the Mets year, no doubt. The Magic is back. I can feel it. Can you feel it?
The Cubs are being the Knoctober Cubbies as usual. What was that about 5 errors/misplays?
I hope the Yankees don't try to sign Murphy based on one incredible post season. I would like to see Cespedes in pinstripes, though.
[10] My feeling is they will likely get outbid for both, though they will make a stronger push for Murphy because he fills a more important need. They'd have to clear a ton of space off the ledger for Cespedes, and then with either there are the years (likely Ellsburyish).
Just as an afterthought and nothing more, Seattle letting go of Lloyd McClendon may signal bigger changes to their clubhouse; apparently he and Robbie were pretty close and Robbie included him in his pitch to free agents. I don't see Robbie back here anytime soon though; not so much burned bridges but too much financial risk at this point. However if Cashman is still calling the shots when Robbie is 36+, all bets are off.
