Good Gosh, I’m remiss. Really lagging behind events these days. The Yanks lost last night cause Sluggo Pineda can’t get his lumbering ass in gear; they’ll need to grab a “W” tonight in order to avoid being swept in Arizona of all places.
We’ll be up late root-root-rooting them on—at least some of us will.
Never mind the warm milk:
Let’s Go Yank-ees!
Man, Pine and Sevvy have been diserperntments this year.
BTW, cool pix this series. Gotta find something good to say.
Forget the pitching. This team can't hit. Gardner is hitting .233 with 9 rbi's. That's from a corner outfielder. They are breathless to get Alex back. He is hitting under .200. Don't get started on Tex. at .213. Each one makes more than most of the pitching staff combined. Hard to watch.
At least we've got big contracts and old guys coming off in the couple of years. Meanwhile, Harper will be out there . . .
I'll settle for Sanchez.
Amazing, 11 rbi's.
Fucking Headley!
Gardy went Yardy? Hooray! Boy, that Miller deal for Arizona looks bad...
Didi has some arm. 3 straight putouts with dudes motoring down the line.
3-1. Eovaldi and Snozzberry. Quality.
And Betances walks the lead off guy in 7th. Mo Christ!
Good work, Dellin. Make it interesting by walking 2 in a row.
Crisis averted. Off to bed. Go Yankees! Zzz....
that wouldn't have happened if miller were pitching the 9th! ; )
nice piece of hitting, brett. let's get that run back!
make 'em pay, tex!
wild pitch - wahoo!
terrible, tex. just awful.
at least we got that run back.
chapman on for the save...
nice fucking catch, hicks!
yankees win!!!
Joey Joe Joe must have been chugging Pepto Bismol between the last 3 innings. Good Old George would have fired him if the Yanks blew that one.
Taking out Eovaldi was inexplicable, inane, even insane (like Yankee Stadium prices!). On the other hand, any day I get to see Chapman pitch is a good day.
