Been thinking about the upcoming season. Too many are picking the Yanks to win the division. It's gonna be tough! Boston may not be better, byt they were pretty great last year. Rays looking like a 90+ win team. Yanks will have to be a .650 team or better against non-division teams to win the 98-102 it will take to win the East. And now the NL East looks like a really good division: Nats are actually better than last year, and should contend. But Philly is much better, the Mets are better too. And don's sleep on ATL. Still dreaming of a Yanks/Nats WS!!!!

question for boat and ok jazz-- neither yomiuri giants or yakult swallows will be in town this weekend (wanted to see swallows at meiji jingu stadium). options are chiba lotte marines or yokohama. was leaning towards yokohama, what do you think? also-- any advice on buying tickets?

[8] That's one for Jazz. He lives down there. As a unapologetic Tokyo Snob, I never leave the Big Mikan. So I don't know much about Yokelhama. Generally, there are usually some seats available at the box office on game day (in the 3,000-5,000 yen range). You might even find scalpers (look for guys in track suits with bling and punch perms) or just folks giving away extra tickets. Good luck.

[8] Hey Springdeeds, sorry just seeing this. Yokohama Stadium is small and all-reserved so best to go into a convenience store and ask them to check the online ticket sales to see if any seats left. Last time I walked up for tix they were sold out...the stadium is right next to Chinatown though so still can have a fun afternoon/evening wandering around.
