Very cool. Last time I was in Japan, I saw advertising for a women's baseball league. We have them in the States as well. There used to be one I was affiliated with in NYC, but it folded.

I saw some too. Two teams and around 30 games to start.

Did you know Japan has a league for former pros, too? It's called the Masters League.
Very short season, but a cool way to see players from one's youth (and depending on your age, players you weren't born early enough to see in action), even if only a shadow of their heyday.

But i digress, this is about remarkable Eri-chan. May she leave many a batter frustrated, and swat some line drives of her own.
