Humanize them?? We know they're human; look. At how many glaring mistakes they've made this season; more than last which was bad enough. Don't waste time. And what else are teams gonna do with pewrsonal information about umpires, invite them to dinner? Of course they'll use it to their advantage. Not that it did the Blue Jays any good this or any season the last five or ten years. I don't see the point; the way the games have been called still. Needs to be seriously addressed regardless of how much you humanize the umps.
