Oh please, it's perfect that Steinbrenner's plaque is bigger than the rest of them - and funny, too. It's like the mini-Stonehenge from Spinal Tap in reverse (instead of being undersized by mistake, it's oversized on purpose). I smiled when it was unveiled, and would have laughed out loud if it wasn't such a solemn occasion for everybody who personally knew him. Don't change it. It is perfect.

Yeah... it's too big, but so was George.
The truth is, our great players are even greater, because they are Yankees. There were/are many great players, but if they wore/wear the Pinstripes, their immortality is greater.

And George made sure that tradition will carry on.
