The Nets got the better player in Deron Williams--and at a far cheaper price. Williams is an all-round threat, while Anthony is relatively one-dimensional.
[5] The Nets are further behind talent-wise than the Knicks are, so the impact the trade has for both teams is different. The Nets having Deron Williams makes them potentially an okay team, while the Knicks went from pretty good to good (but not great.) If Chauncey Billups can run the offense competently (which I imagine is a non-issue), they'll likely be good for the rest of the year.
I'm going to suspend my anger at the Knicks until I see where this all goes. They're a couple of chips away from being an elite team thanks to Consolidated Walsh, so if Dolan can muster the strength to keep Isiah out of the Garden and let the players play, then it might be time to put the jacket back on. Still, I'm hoping Cablevision sells the team...
Clyde is dressed to the nines tonight for the occasion.
Well, that looks delicious.
As usual, hope the Knicks lose.
3) hater! LOL
the chemistry will take some time, but this gon' be fuuuun. most excited I've been about any trade since A-Rod
