This comes at a sad time for me, though. To see this image, a little salt in the wound you might say.
I was playing SCrabble online with my sisters and mom and was cruising, over 40 points ahead with good letters going down the stretch. I checked this morning anticipating a coup de grace and the game was over! My dear old mom had gone out with a seven letter word, burying my hopes for the day.
I'm impressed with anyone who can play the game. It makes my head hurt and I go into a cold sweat. Seriously, whatever part of your brain you need to play that, I'm lacking, same with crossword puzzles.
[3] There's a documentary about Scrabble and all the whizzes are math people, not reading people. I thought that was interesting but also I shoulda known.
And I can't even start crossword puzzles. I feel like there's a huge difference. With Scrabble, it's self-generated, with crosswords, you are trying to figure out someone else's shit, which I hate haha.
[4] Actually if it happens in the first turn of a one-on-one game you have a pretty good chance, or as a good a chance as you're gonna have, of catching up to a score like that. Lots of letters and turns left.
Aw shucks .... thanks AB!
That's great! Congrats.
