A good Yiddish word.

anybody out there know how those pants stay up when you walk? or if you had to run to catch a train or a light?

i've got a pair of shorts that are one size too big and they'll fall down at any pace above a stroll.

I think you have to keep your legs spread some to keep 'em up. But if you had to run, fergit it. Yer screwed.

It's spelled schmekel.

If you must run, then they must use hand to hold up waist.

Funny how the low pants started as to emulate those arrested in lock-up who could not keep their belts after they were processed. You can't run at Rikers, so it wasn't an issue.
