Afternoon Art

Dig this most cool photo gallery of American restaurants, cafes, and dinners of the 1950s and ’60s over at the even cooler site, Retronaut.

(Peace to Brad for showing us the way to this one.)

I wish they noted where these diners were. So very cool. I may pass the link along to my mom & dad...just for nostalgia purposes!

Never forget the (in)famous Tic Tock Diner on Rt. 3, a must stop on the way home (to central and west North Jersey) from concerts and games at Giants Stadium and (then) Byrne Arena and of course an evening at the Meadowlands Racetrack.

It would be nice if they had a few Jersey Diners in the collection.
