[7] Yeah, I would have guessed he was a lot older. That means he was putting out the first Apples when he was..25?

[8] Ha, 25 was when he became a millionaire. 21 was when he and Wozniak founded Apple. I remember the first computer I used was an Apple II Plus in the elementary school's new computer room. They were soon replaced by the Apple IIe and IBMs. I was stuck with DOS and then Windows until college, where the school newspaper had MacIntosh LCs and Quadras. Was again overwhelmed with Windows computers for several years, but always managed to find a Mac hiding somewhere until Hunter College finally sanctioned the creation of two Mac Labs for students. Finally weaned myself off Windows in 2005 with the purchase of my first Mac computer, a used G4 Sawtooth desktop loaded with graphics programs. I've been a Mac Man ever since and I swear by them through thick and thin. Someday, I hope to purchase a brand new, top of the line Intel-based G5 with quad processors, but in the meantime, I want to thank you, Mr. Jobs, for helping me creatively and otherwise remain balanced in an ever-changing slope of a world you ironically helped create. But most of all, thank you for being maybe the one billionaire computer genius who was not also a colossal douchebag. That means more than you know. Rest In Peace.

I switched to using a Mac 4 years ago. Looooooong overdue, it's so easy to use.

[10] The man is the very definition of "visionary." His ideas touched the world in so many ways. Changed the way we work, communicate, entertain ourselves.

I have been Mac user for 22 years. Owner of 5 Macs and an iPhone (of course).

And I am still kicking myself for not buying Apple stock when it was 9 bucks a share around. GAH!

[12] I was a complete and total wreck in those years, so I can't kick myself for anything like that. Neither should you; you'd be a much different person now, and perhaps you'd not be as cool >;)
