Warshed Away

About the best thing that could have happened to the Red Sox tonight was a rainout. They got it and avoid facing C.C. Sabathia. Too bad.

Yanks have a challenging week ahead in Texas and then back in the Bronx against the Tiger.s

Rats. A three game sweep of the Red Sox on the 100th birthday of Fenway would have me almost feeling sorry for Bobby Valentine. Almost.

I was just watching the MLB Network and when they showed a bit of the Rockies game. I had no idea that Jason Giambi was still playing or that was he was playing for the Rockies. It is terrible, but I lose interest is most players the minute they leave the Yankees.

Meanwhile, I guess that Carmelo Anthony is pretty good after all.

[2] I just saw that AJ Burnett threw 7 shutout innings to win his debut for the Pirates yesterday. Good for him. I'll sort of miss the inconsistent lug.

I agree. Happy for AJ.

[4] I think it's against Banter rules to say you miss AJ. Alex?

I have never understood the AJ dislike/hate or whatever it is/was. He did his part to help the Yankees win the World Series so I am cool with him. His struggles after no matter how frustrating could never eliminate his World Series accomplishment. My memory is not that short.

I don't hate AJ.

He not only led the Bucs to victory...it was over the World Champion Cardinals. Good on him.
