Know what’s a good sign? That C.C. Sabathia has been the Yankees’ worst starter during their recent streak. ‘Cause I never worry about C.C. and if he’s their biggest problem, man, that sure does bode well. Ivan Nova had another outstanding performance today as the Yankees beat the Nationals 4-1. Curtis Granderson and Robinson Cano hit solo home runs and the Yanks delivered a satisfying Father’s Day gift for all those Yankee-rootin’ Dads out there.
Felt damn good for the rest of us, too.

Who are those 2 senior citizens with Curtis?
I remember trying to imagine a long winning streak when thing were terrible, and a string of starting pitching like this seemed totally implausible. Hughes and Nova are showing up each time with great to good efforts, and Andy Pettitte has been the best part of the season.
Look forward to watching this game tonight on mlb.com.
Right now it's Heat-Thunder. Expert analysis: Durant and LBJ are very good at basketball. I enjoy watching them.
How does anyone ever stop LBJ when he drives to the basket?
4) You don't. Great players aren't stopped offensively. They are bothered, hopefully, so they won't score 45. lol.
James the best player in the world right now. An all time great. Rest of the Heat team, other than Bosh, isn't likable at all, least not by me, anyhow.
[5] I like Battier and Bosh. Wade seems a bit of a whiner. But could never root for OKC after that Seattle business. Nothing against the players, only the owners..
These two teams seem very very close.
I've never understood sitting your star player down with 4 fouls. Durant went out and the Heat then had a 15-3 run. Durant can still produce even with 4 fouls...what am I missing?
You want the guy there for the end of the game. You hope to withstand a run--and by the way, the reason the Heat and Wade in particular are unlikable is because of the fourth foul call, Wade has forever gotten great calls, just ask Mark Cuban and the Mavs--but you don't want the guy to foul out with 8 minutes left in the game. You want him on the floor in the end because he can--and has--made game winning shots before.
[8] But Durant can still contribute on the offensive side even if he has to lay off playing D..?
I hate the whole "superstars get the calls" thing in both basketball and baseball. Can't officials and umps just call it straight for everyone?
[9] No. Unfortunately, they are human.
