Mrs Posada: "Jorge. JORGE!! Get the phone - it's Hal!! He wants to talk. I'll get your gear out of the basement. Do you still have the real estate agent's name?"
Jorge: "But geez - I don't know."
Mrs Posada: "What don't you know. What?!? You've been whining around the house for over a year. Andy got invited to camp and look how that wound up. Now come get this phone. Then go for a run. You need to get in shape.
Jorge: "Yes dear."
Jorge Jr: "We moving back up north, Dad?"
Jorge: "I'm not sure. I think so. I hope the snow melts by then."
A couple of things about the original New Times article.
1) Apparently Bosch wore a white lab coat that said "Dr. Tony Bosch." He's not an M.D. or a PhD., so right off the bat the guy is a fraudster
2) He told one of his clients "this is the stuff Lance Armstrong uses." How did he know that, or was he simply blowing smoke? Either is equally possible to me, at this point. I could see him puffing himself up by claiming to be treating superstar athletes (A-Rod) but Alex has lied in the past too, so I just don't know.
[6] At this point, I'm not sure it even matters. Sports have always been a spectacle, but nowadays it has gone way beyond the ends ($$$!!!) justifying the means (better, stronger, faster, more violent). There are so many conflicting messages within pro sports and from the various sources of information attached to it that processing it all into "right" and "wrong is nearly impossible and pushes us into mental and emotional stasis.
I'm definitely not looking to sports for anything except entertainment. If I need anything else, I get it my damn self.
[7] As so often, I'm with you Chyll. Entertain me with high flying dunks, sharp breaking sliders and 'Googlys & Chinamen' (Cricket). Athletes have always pushed their bodies to extremes, who cares?
Catching up on Braun's lawyers' statement. Makes sense to me, I used a similar argument when Mrs. Jazz caught me down at the 'Jazz Babe House of Groove'. "I'm just doing reserach for the site, baby." Worked ilke a charm!
Braun needs to be lanced.
Why vilify A-Rod and let this boy skate? What a mess.
Just because it's a front doesn't mean somebody doesn't have to do the landscaping.
Cervilli needs counselling. Talk about getting ahead of a story. Bad time for silence unless you got more to worry about than a dirty piss test.

see, here's the proof that PED's don't actually enhance performance!

Meanwhile, there's now a world-wide soccer game fixing scandal, and there's a PED scandal in Australian sports:

So at this point, I'm not sure there's anything clean.
